Keep insects from eating your profits

Because you have big yield goals and a crop you want to protect.

Know when you need to spray

No one wants to make an extra pass with a sprayer if they don’t have to, even if you’re concerned about an insect infestation. Eliminate the guesswork by making an objective decision based on thorough monitoring and correct pest identification to determine if you’ve reached the economic threshold where it makes sense to invest in an insecticide. Economic threshold is the population of insects or the amount of crop damage where the value of the crop being damaged exceeds the cost of controlling the pest. Start with the number of insects per plant, or the proportion of a leaf’s surface that has been damaged.

When the time comes

Insect pressures vary from season to season, but Cargill can help you stay on top of things, no matter what might be eating your crops.
